My name is Rafael Mediavilla, born and raise in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Graduated from Universidad Metropolitana, BBA with Major in System Information Management. I’m a full time gadgets geek, part time poker player, semi-gamer, full time tech guy, Twitter evangelists, Apple fanboy, Microsoft hater, podcaster, and web 2.0 addict. I love everything that revolves around technology and the internet.
An inspired tech guy, I love helping people with their tech woes. I’m a hands down troubleshooter, a problem solver, and a team player. I model myself to what Leo Laporte preaches.
Co-Founder of www.Twittericans.net, a users group of Puertorican Twitter Users. I host, and edited the Twittericans Tweetcast, a monthly podcast about what is hot/trending in Twitter World.
Former regular contributor at a local tech radio show named “Tecnología en Arroz y Habichuelas with Mr. Tech” on Red 96.5 FM, where I mostly talk about Web 2.0 topics.
Huge fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Pro Wrestling, Baseball fan, and I am absolutely hopelessly in love with singer/song writer/actress Ashley Tisdale, and Selena Gomez, totally lover their killer eyes, and faces.
Current projects involve:
- Working on my MBA in Business Management (Universidad Metropolitana)
- Starting my own New Media Consulting business
- Working on Goomi (a Twitter adaptation for the Hispanic audience)
